Celebrating Independence Day at Coronado’s 75th Annual Fourth of July Parade

Updated: Jul 16

This year’s Fourth of July was truly a day to remember as I had the honor of participating in Coronado’s 75th Annual Fourth of July Parade. As Miss Pre-Teen California International 2024, I was thrilled to be part of such a historic and joyous event.

Riding down the iconic Orange Avenue in my father’s convertible, I felt an overwhelming sense of pride and excitement. The streets were lined with tens of thousands of smiling faces, all celebrating our nation’s independence together. The energy was electric, and the sense of community was heartwarming. Waving to the crowd, I saw familiar faces and new friends, all united in the spirit of the holiday.

I am immensely grateful to Mr. Dave Szymanski, the parade director, for allowing me to be a part of this spectacular celebration. His dedication to organizing such a fantastic event each year is truly commendable. It was an honor to be part of a beautiful city and share the joy of the day with everyone.

My platform, Hannah’s Heart and Paws, is based in Coronado, and participating in this parade allowed me to connect with the community on a personal level. I am proud of the work we do to support pets and their owners, and being part of this parade was a wonderful way to highlight our mission.

I would also like to express my heartfelt appreciation to my father, who has proudly called Coronado his place of work for the past 16 years. His support and dedication have been instrumental in my journey, and it was incredibly special to share this moment with him.

The 75th Annual Fourth of July Parade in Coronado was a beautiful celebration of freedom, community, and tradition. I am grateful for the memories made and the opportunity to be in Coronado on this special day. Here’s to many more years of celebrating our great nation together!

Thank you, Coronado, for a truly unforgettable Fourth of July!

With gratitude, Hannah Wright
